Extend a USB Hub over Cat 5e
The USB 2.0 RANGER 2104 is freshly designed USB 2.0 extender that can be used for multiple USB 2.0 applications. It provides all the functionality of standard a standard USB 2.0 4 port hub in a very long distance at 330ft, all in a ready-to-use package.  The USB 2.0 RANGER 2104 provides support for both High Speed USB 2.0 and Low Speed USB 1.1 applications.  With 4 ports built in, you can plug in your devices, or also plug in more hubs for additional devices.  USB has a limit of 127 devices!

Extreme USB Technology...
Icron's USB RANGER products are composed of two separate units: the Local Extender (LEX) and the Remote Extender (REX). The LEX unit has a built-in USB A cable which connects to the host computer.  The REX unit has four USB A female connectors to allow connection of your devices, which could include keyboards, mice, audio equipment, cameras, etc... Cat 5e cabling is used to connect the LEX and REX units over a distance of up to 100 meters (330ft).  The USB 2.0 RANGER 2104 can be powered at the remote unit with the included power adapter, but is only required when using units that require full USB bus power (500Ma).  With the power adapter, full power is supplied to all four USB ports on the hub.

True Plug and Play out of the box
The new USB 2.0 Ranger 2104 extender represents a significant milestone in the USB market, supporting USB 2.0 peripheral devices at speeds up to 480 Mb/s over a distance of 100 meters (330 ft.). The USB 2.0 Ranger 2104 is a single port, Class A devices which connects host computers and peripherals with standard Category 5e UTP cable.
