Description
Long USB Extension Cable
This long USB 2.0 extension cable allows you to extend any USB or USB 2.0 cable with ease!
The universal fit makes it great to mate with any USB A Plug,
guaranteed.
Tethered Shooting (Photography)
We've had several photographers come to us who want to shoot
tethered, but a 15ft cable just isn't enough to shoot around their
subject comfortably. These longer extensions are the perfect mix, combined with any of our
cables works perfectly, especially with our angled mini-b cables (link),
which take the stress off of the port in your camera, which means
reducing expensive repair costs. We are recommended by support
engineers at most major camera manufacturers.
Works great with
interactive white boards
We've found that AV installers can easily fish it through conduit and
install it into classrooms for AV equipment, including interactive white
boards such as the SmartBoard. You can also daisychain them with
up to 4 inline. At that distance, however, we do recommend our
version with the powered hub (link)
at the end to be sure you can power your whiteboard!
Works
with all speeds
Some extenders using Cat 5 or Fiber can limit the speed of USB device that
can be used (low speed 1.5Mbps such as keyboards, full speed such as
cameras 12Mbps, and hi-speed such as hard drives and almost all newer
items 480Mbps). This long USB 2.0 Extension works with all of
them.
