1. Please email email@example.com to request a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. An RMA request must be made within 10 business days of receipt of the product in accordance with USBFireWire.com's return policy (noted above).
2. If the RMA is approved, an RMA number will be issued. The RMA support representative will also provide you with information on how to return the product to us.
3. Product must be returned to the USBFireWire.com warehouse within 30 business days of the issuance of the RMA. All products must be packed in the original, unmarked packaging including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration that shipped with the product.
4. If there is any signs of damage or fraud, the product will be returned at the expense of the customer. The customer will be notified that he or she needs to provide payment for shipment back to them. If the customer has not made contact within 15 days, the customer forfeits the product to to USBFireWire.com for sale.
How to ensure the product is returned safely
We recommend that you use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns and either insure your package for safe return to USBFireWire.com or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are completely protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit. If you choose not to use a carrier that offers tracking, and insure or declare the full value of the product, you will be responsible for the loss or damage to the product during shipping. Please note that the US Postal Service (USPS) offers limited tracking capabilities and that there is a 30-day waiting period before the USPS will initiate a trace.
